PURPOSE

“Cymbalta Hurts Worse” (CHW) is a Facebook Group of over 45,000 members who share the challenge of stopping Cymbalta/duloxetine while minimizing withdrawal symptoms.  For over a decade, the dedicated volunteer moderators used the experiences and feedback from tens of thousands of members to develop and refine the “Gradual Taper” method of slow tapering.  Stopping “cold turkey”, skipping days, or large drops in dose, have proven to cause horrific symptoms.  CHW developed the online tapering calculator and provides detailed instructions for a safe, Gradual Taper.
