PURPOSE

“Cymbalta Hurts Worse” (CHW) was a Facebook Group of over 45,000 members who shared the challenge of stopping Cymbalta/duloxetine while minimizing withdrawal symptoms.  For over 13 years, the dedicated volunteer moderators used the experiences and feedback from tens of thousands of members to develop and refine the “Gradual Taper” method of slow tapering that is documented on this website as well as the online tapering calculators.  We provide detailed instructions for a safe, Gradual Taper.  We now carry on the same peer support from our page on Reddit!
